Touring cars past their age

I haven't seen this discussed and didn't find an answer with a forum search. Showroom Stock cars passed their legal age end up in IT. What can you do with a Touring(T1,T2) car after it reaches maximun age for the class? ITE is out here because of the 3L max engine size rule.

This is why DP/CP is being discussed. Someplace for Touring and GT cars to go, after their retirement from Pro racing.
