Trailer Insurance

I'm about to buy my first race car and enclosed trailer. I'd like to have insurance set up before I get them. Theft and fender benders are my biggest concern. What companies are you all using for off track insurance for your trailer and race car. Do typical car insurance companies like state farm or geico insure the car/ trailers, or are there companies that specialize in this type of thing?

Thanks

I used the same carrier for my trailers as my daily drivers.
(State Farm)
For the race car, Heacock Insurance offers insurance for the race car while it's stored in a locked garage, in the paddock or being towed.
It is 'agreed value' coverage. In my case, a $25k policy runs $250 a year.

You're lucky. Nationwide would not talk to me, even when I was an employee. They offered me a K&K policy for $1000 per year, for an open trailer, no equipment.

Bill--That's crazy.

My trailer is less than $50.00 a year to insure. Most of any actual insurance runs off the tow vehicle.

I have a stated value policy through Nationwide for my trailer and contents. It even has its own liability policy if it comes loose. Get a new agent.

Another Option

RvAmerica Insurance (rvainsurance.cm?)is worth a Google and a call. May even help with towing and road service. D**n good for motorhomes.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll look into all these companies.

I'm hoping my age and lack of towing experience doesn't hurt me.
