I put stiffer front springs in front and now my upper perches are bending. these don't look like stock A1 perches because they are the same diameter as the bottom ones. The springs fit in them great but they aren't strong enough. Any ideas on what year these are or what to replace them with? Thanks.

Those are circa 1977 stock uppers. Cheaper and easier to go with coil-overs, IMHO.
