What clutches are you guys using?

What are you guys/gals doing for replacement clutches?
I'm looking at at these options:
centerforce kit from Mazdacomp
stock
Bonez street/strip
ISC racing's setup

I've got an 84 RX-7
I would appreciate any opinions. Thanks
 
I used a new, stock clutch and pressure plate on my '80 without any issues for 4 years. I am trying a 4 puck this year; any problems, I'll keep you posted....

I just got a HASPORT "stronger than stock", stock-type that that I will be putting in soon. He also carries the puck-types.

Bone stock.. Haven't had an issue yet after a year and half, replacing it now only cause the transmission died

A word of caution on clutch jobs--if you don't have the mazda tool to remove the needle (idler) bearing--DON'T!. Attempting to remove this bearing from the eccentric shaft without the proper tool will damage the bearing and seal. The result will be grease getting slung onto your new clutch and lots of slippage...

From what I understand your right on Tak. If the bearing has not failed just pack with fresh grease and leave it be.
 
No need for the expensive Mazda tool. Any inside puller (might need to file it down to fit the small ID of the bearing) and a slide hammer can get it done.

I've been running the centerforce that was in the car when I bought it in '99 without problem thus far. I average 20 20-30 minute sessions annually (5 race weekends). If it failed, I'd probably go with the ISC setup.
 
I have run a new stock BW Brute Power setup the first 2 years, Then I put a 4-puck clutch disk in using the exisitng pressure plate. I have also used the Centerforce setup. All work fine, reliability is a non-issue. I like the engagement of the 4-puck, so that's my choice. I guess the ideal would be a Centerforce pressure plate over a 4-puck disk.
 
I'm using an Act 4-puck. Comes in a neat yellow. Only one season so far so I can't give you any real time tested results, but I like it so far!
