What group does ITB usually fall into?

This question is based on my limited experience with SCCA.

At Daytona we ran with the SM cars, at Sebring we ran with the SRF cars. Which is more common in the SEDiv?

I looked at the SEDiv permanent numbers list and ITB was listed as Group II AND Group V.

Thanks...Tom

Daytona was not ordinary, the run groups had to be tweaked to allow the most convenience for drivers who shared cars.
If you ran the enduro, you saw how your run groups were seperated.
It looked like it worked great.

The Southeast Division recommended groupings are five groups. One is ITB and ITC with Production cars, GTL, SPU and SRF, with SM and SSB/C in another group. This is the way I usually see it done, with SRF sometimes split into their own group. If time is available, or the the field is large, there may be as many as 7 or 8 groups. The race organizers can split it however they want in order to balance the group sizes, although they usually try to avoid combining groups to avoid permanent number conflicts.
