Wheel studs for 1st gen?

I am looking to redo my studs for the season. I'd like to get 12mm 1.5 thread pitch studs that have a section that screws into the threaded hub. They use an allen key to seat them. 2" available threads after that to accommodate spacer and wheel.

Old source dropped them because "1st gen guys don't exist any more".

I found some at Turner, bu at $5.5 or $7 each, it's gets spendy.

Mazdatrix has some at $3/5 EA, but they are a tad short at 2.25 OA. That leaves 1.6" or so available thread, less 10mm for spacers, resulting in only 1.25. Certain wheels eat up all but a few threads of those.

Any ideas?

Go to Bildon Motorsports - www.bildon.com - a site sponsor.

I have purchased both their 80mm chrome racing studs and their 75mm Hardened racing studs. I bought the chrome studs in 2007 and they work fine. The material is a little soft and I didn't like the way the my hex keys fit the hex in the end of the stud. Because I wanted to add spares to my racing inventory, this year I bought the hardened studs. They seem to be significantly better made. Very easy to install - great tool fitment - and have a handy tappered end for speedy pit stops. At $4.25 each they are a little pricy but I think that the hardened studs will have a longer life. Plus the hardened studs are longer and have more useable threads than the 80mm chrome studs.

Great service and prompt shipping too.

Cool! And calling them a site sponsor is a bit of an understatement! I'll call Bill tomorrow. Haven't talked to him in a long while. Thanks to all!
