I have a 1990 GSX, currently being prepared for NASA Class B time trials and (shudder) unlimited class racing. As I understand it, there is also an SCCA/NASA class I can run with the car (one poster on the DSM list said: There is another class for the DSM's in NASA, at least here on the West coast. It is the equivilant of the SCCA ITS class. The DSM's aren't specificly listed but that's the class they put them in. Look up PS-0 (Pro Sedan) class on the NASA site. [Click Here]. You basicly have to find a set of rules for ITE from SCCA and follow them, with the exception of the few superseeding rules in the NASA PS-0 rules.)
I've searched around a little, but can't find anything more definitive than that statement above. I snooped at some ITS rules, and can't tell if my 48 points of NASA mods are acceptable in ITS.
It would be wonderful if I could run in NASA and SCCA race classes next year, and I have all winter to prep the car for both sets of rules. Where can I get more information about where a 48-point DSM fits into SCCA?
