Hey, folks, I'm in the market for some 14" VW alloys to put on my 1984 Rabbit L diesel. Any condition considered, cash price talks.

I live in Milford CT, can meet within reasonable distance.

Greg,

I have a couple sets of VW alloys (teardrops, snowflakes, steel, or audi ronals) that you can choose from.

I live in Newtown, CT, the rims are in Danbury, CT, and I work in Shelton, CT, so you are in luck with the "resonable distance".

Email me if interested at [email protected]

Bill,

If you are referring to the ones you sold me, interesting story...

I had the whole package sold to a gentleman from this site, somewhere in Ohio...upon packaging the rims/tires, I noticed very small slits along the edges of the Hoosiers...I was not comfortable selling these to someone who did not see them first. Later on, I did end up selling them to someone locally, who saw them first and knew what the condition was first hand, they were very happy with the purchase, even though they did flat spot a bunch and pop a few (HI RAYMOND!

) But anyway, I kept the rims, they are in excellent shape and you could always use more wheels.

Edit--Bill, the deal you sold me was GREAT!, I was just unfamiliar with the Hoosier wear pattern, and I decided to stick to Kumhos for now (budget reasons).

I can probably find you some old Audi wheels if your desperate but I think you could probably find some at a junk yard for the same price as shipping.

Bill and Alan,

Thanks for the used hoosiers. they really helped us out more than anything! I think next year I will run with 225 on the front for wear but those helped out a ton on my wallet this year! I ended up finishing 3rd in the runnoffs with them on the back

and Raymond ran them on is car for the runnoffs since his budget at the time didn't exist at all! Thanks again for a great season and I hope to see you at the first event. Happy holidays!

A quick funny story. My dad gets new tires almost every race. He actually threw his away... placed them next to the traler marked as trash on them to throw them away. well another competitor of his came by and asked if he could have the set. My dad said "sure they are junk anyway" the other person went to goodyear had them mounted and beat my dad with his brand new tires against the other guy on the 4 takeoffs. We made fun of him for a while, and we still are
