Yes, this months 'Pacesetter' in SportsCar is FOM's own Steve Ulfelder. Lot's of great info about him and his quest to become a novelist. I have only been watching the process for about 3-4 years and it has been a really interesting one. I am humbled by the effort, talent and luck it takes to do what Steve has done.

The initial reviews have been amazing. I can't wait for the copies I have ordered.

If you haven't - get one on order NOW!!!! :)

I just finished Purgatory Chasm by Steve Ulfelder. What a book! couldn't put it down. Great crime mystery with some serious tough guy action, missing $$, serious family dysfunction - throw in some murder, incest and you have something you must buy for the Memorial Day Weekend at the beach reading!

Plus just great writing. Conway Sax is a character you want to know more about. He's a tough guy dudes wish they could be :-) I'm signing up for the sequel.

PS - extremely cool racing and car references. Finally got the Flatout reference when Randall puts on a Flatout hat to avoid being captured on security video :-)

Thanks guys! I'm at NHMS and have a box of books for those who want a signed copy. Just find us in the usual garages!

I want a signed copy - I missed the post (and forgot to ask when we were chatting in impound). Are you at NJ?

Just finished the book tonight ... It's a fast, easy read and it just makes you want to keep going. Ready for the next one!
