your ride..

Well, I am not the worst of them. This dude "Ali" apparently did so many dirty things to his car, he washed it... just imagine!

Eventhough this thread was started by a spammer I couldn't help but respond as I remembered my days working in a hardware store. Our uniform shirts said "We have nuts" on the back. I remember when the couple girls wanted something different and I suggested that they should say "I love to screw". Oh and who could forget the promo we actually did have... "Buy two nuts and a bolt and get a free screw!" Oh how life has changed, our kids will never get to do those kinds of things.

Oh and just to stay on topic, I did a lot of screwing on my car today. Almost ready for NHMS this weekend!

I worked for a company owned by a company called "Quality Screw and Nut"

as if that isn't bad enough, they had a T-shirt that said, "What America needs is a Quality Screw!"

My buddy Joe worked a NJ supplier of bulk feeders, "Vibra Screw". Joe made it a point to hand out his business cards at seedy NJ bars at every occasion. Sometimes he went home with someone, sometimes he got slapped in the face. Regardless, we enjoyed the odds.

I sat in the car on the hydraulic lift making engine noises and turning the wheel like I was driving on Mid Ohio. If you must know I did in fact win.

How were the brakes? :D

When lift racing the brakes work so well I brake at cone one every corner every time. In fact I don't think I even used the brakes from turn 8 through 14.

Real car racing the brakes are slowing me down now. Which is better then they were doing before. The front end is actually loading up now. Feels much better.
