I know Dan Jones and Doc Aziz wont run at Summit with the current ITR run groups. ITR is healthy enough elsewhere......:mad1::mad1::dead_horse:

Gregg I have the feeling that you are the person who can help the ITR class. If you can do something for us we will owe you BIG!!!!
Well, Chad DeHaven (the ITS/ITR rep) and I tried. The motion to have the class moved to the ITA/SRX7/SM5/T3 group for 2012, even on a trial basis, failed with only two votes for.

As a reminder, this decision was made by the Region's Club Racing Committee, made up of each class driver's rep as well as the chief of each specialty, and it is charged with doing what it feels is best for the race program as a whole, including the race experience of all of our drivers.

Sorry folks. While I am not going to copy the supporting data again, the MARRS BB group is a pretty decent home to the class. If you choose not to run with us due to a different perception, that's unfortunate, but I do understand.

Gregg your help is appreciated. Thanks man.

Just got word we can announce a change to our August 18/19 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This year it will be a combined MARRS/SARRC double weekend with double CCPS pro series (http://www.carolinacupproseries.com/) running under the lights Saturday night. Big bore will also run at dusk under full lighting for their second race of the weekend.

CCR and the SEDIV are looking forward to racing with our friends in the MARRS series and showing some southern hospitality. We take a break Saturday afternoon and cook a dinner for everyone then turn on the lights and go back racing. :smilie_pokal:
