I'll agree with that. And it's cheap, too. Look in the "bargain bin".
Ty - check with the F&C chief of your region to see if crash & burn is required. Although we hold one in Atlanta Region, it's not required for a regional license. If you've got an active F&C license (or even a log book) and have a few races under your belt, you're welcome at the ARRC.

You know, speaking of beer, I'm starting to look into making my own. Maybe I'll bring a batch worth of a special "IT ARRC" brew.

Just do it for, oh, about the 2006 ARRC. My Dad started his own brewing years ago and it took him a while to get it right. It's very good now, but the first batch tasted like Yak urine.
Then again, why not? You do live in Milwaukee, and we always have the extra Coronas we can drink.
There will be extra Coronas, right? Or am I getting the impression that, among certain IT board members, there is no such thing as an "extra" Corona?

You know, our Heat and Mass Transfer class final was one question:
You're at a party with a full keg of beer. It is half submerged in ice in a 0.125" thick plastic vessel. Temperature of the ambient air is 75ºF and will increase at a rate of 2ºF per hour. Humidity shall remain constant at 87%. Calculate the temperature of the first beer, the beer at half consumption, and the last beer.
There were more details (obviously), but it used everything we learned in that class!
Oh, and to move this back on topic, the homebrew stuff shows up next week. Hopefully I can master it in the early spring and have a pretty good selection of beers for the ARRC. I may even make some Hard Cider for the little woman...

Tom, for a second I was confused by your "aim for a tree" comment, what with all the Yak urine talk around here.....
But I think you're referring too my RA comment. After you come down the front straight, you sweep right up the hill (turn 1), after exiting 1, you aim for the tree to position yourself for the left jog...presumably 2. Then you jump right, (over the berm?) and enter the esses. That right was unnoticed by me the first few laps, and remained my Achilles Heel for the duration. Drove right by it the first time, and never got the timing right consistantly.
