I would buy today if I knew what SCCA and NASA was going to require and/or permit. The cost hasn't been an issue holding me up - more whether or not I would be able to continue to use a system when they become required.

I use a HANS, as I doubt it will NOT be disallowed by any sanctioning body unless something very serious arose (at which point, no one would allow it). OEM testing, FIA sanction required ... it's hard to argue with the vast amount of experience, real life data and the amount of testing behind it.
