Speed Weeks at Daytona marks the beginning of the season, and once it is over we will have some demo systems available at a 15% discount.

In the past we have put a notice on the Web site and been flooded with orders for demos. The problem with that approach was that we typically have just a handful of demo systems available and it is not practical to keep a waiting list, so we are posting a notice here to give the IT crowd first crack.

We expect to have at least three Intermediate Isaac systems available, along with at least two Isaac Link models. The discounted price will be $760.75 and $250.75 respectively.

Demos are brand new systems we have used for show and tell. Sometimes it is in a classroom setting, sometimes it is in the pits and occasionally someone takes one on track. In any case, they have been in a controlled setting and not crashed. Every now and then one gets a cosmetic blemish. Think of it as a scratch and dent sale.

If interested, just order the system of your choice and note in the "Comments" section of the order form that you want a demo. The link is here.

I just bought one. Great product. Very well made, clear instructions and Greg even called to make sure that it was delivered.

Greg didn't call when I ordered mine. I feel left out. :(

Seriously, great product even though I haven't 'tested' it yet.

Update:

We took three Isaac systems to the Rolex and they have been sold as demos. Rather than drag them around for the rest of Speed Weeks at Daytona, we are going to put those aside and take three more new systems.

One of those has already been taken, so two more will be available at the demo discount after 19 February.
 
Sure enough. All gone.

Gee Ed, I don't believe we've ever sold a demo before we assembled it, but why not? We'll make it a dual action pin.

One more, sort of.

A customer returned a Basic Isaac system after one use. A combination of seat and driving style hindered their head mobility more than they expected. Along with the 15% discount we'll take off another $50 because the helmet mounts' anodized coating is scratched from the fasteners. That makes it $566.25.

(The Basic model has the dampers with the simpler helmet pins, shown at the bottom of the image here.

We normally do not make a secondary market for Isaac products because we cannot vouch 100% for the product after it has left our control. We're not vouching 100% in this case, but given that the customer works with a sanctioning body that has raced only once this season, we're probably talking the 99% range. If you're willing to take that risk, it's all yours.
