LRP NARRC Runoffs

How about some ITS and ITR updates? Any times and finishing positions? Good battles?

Way to go Doc Bro on the NARRC championship - Rob Thiele, you are a consumate gentleman. Looking foward to the Pro IT at NJMP to polish off the season

What really pisses me off is that after a couple of laps Max and I had gapped the field and I knew he was on Dirt Stockers

Dirt stockers?? Really? I thought I saw something else on like molded rains, but not dirt stockers. If he was on dirt stockers, he's a god, and he burned those things down. No offense, he was clearly working that car, and made it wide where it had to be, but dirt stockers? I don't think so.

Just cause you couldn't get around him doesn't mean it's not true!!

I had a "little" more time in pre-grid to see what was going on than you did............ He did a lot of searching for water and by the end was going really slow (but still amazingly fast considering!)

Jake....Lou in IT7 was definately on dirt stockers. He showed me them in the pits and on his car before the race. He told me in the pits after that he had no grip in the dry on them and had to look for the rain line.....LOL.

yea yea, next to him, but pushed off into the wet, LOL. so, no, didn't get around him. Maybe he had some old ones, but they haven't been available in anything over a 13" in two or more years, I thought.

I had alot of fun this weekend congrats rob on the ITR championship. Andy that was a really good race you guys had going i never knew who was going to come downhill first:eclipsee_steering:

I thought the race length was fine. What I'd love to see changed is how Friday is utilized. Have a 10 min qual session then figure out a more fun way to use the remaining time. I realize that no racing is allowed on Friday, but are there other different "practice" or qualifying formats that could be used?

Lou said that they are no longer available(dirt stockers).

Not true. Only the 13" in one size is available. I have a new set waiting for me in VA. Appalachian Tire has graciously procured a set for me, just in case it rains at VIR for the Goblins Go.

Fast, Very Fast, A Little Too Fast, Whats He Got Under There A Turbo Or Maybe Some Big Boy Cams. Wow Its Fast, And Do Not Tell Me Its The Driver

Are the dirt stockers better than the regular Hoosier rains in a 13", Jake?

Quoted for posterity.

So, let's get serious for a second, shall we?

It's clear you're saying he's cheating. So, be a man, and sign your name, etc.

Once that's done. bring evidence. As in what makes you so smart? you're claiming that, during a rain race, a guy who's shown lot's of fast driving before, and who has spend time in the Pro ranks, is clearly cheating.

Time to present some evidence. Or STFU.

No hard data, but the DSs have a different compound, and are known to be awesome on cold wet conditions. They also burn down quickly if it begins to dry. Junk on a dry track. The Radial Rains, (aka 'molded rains') are thought to have better water channeling, but a compound that won't burn down on a drying track.

At this point, the 13" is the only available comparison point. Rick B used them to hunt down and pass Dave Gran in the wet in the ITB race. Daves on larger than 13" wheels so it's not an option for him to use DSs.

"hondaman 321" i tell u what bud give me ur car and u can drive my car and we will see who is faster.PS i can drive anything and i have the backround to back it up with and if you have any other issue you can call my shop or if you want driving lessons i give those too.
