Glad to hear you're gonna try and make it. It's been a long haul for you guys!!

Yeah, don't expect the same results from me as the June race though. I just hope I stay close enough so I can watch Shane and Andy hammer on each other. :) But 32 laps is a long race. Lots can happen!! Will Andy's new engine make it?? I'm sure he's going to have it well broken in before the race including the test day before!! I'm thinking he wants his revenge with Shane........Skunked for the past two years!! :o

Thanks Jeff! It has been a long haul... I literally teared up a couple times (while driving) when I got that car on track for the very first time Monday! I'd not been that happy in a long, long time... We'll be bringing up the rear, but it will great just to be racing again!
 
It is fun trying to stir it up a little - at least Steve U was man enough to bite on some of the trash talk! :-) (Those headlights are goofy and I can't find a good plastic cover to protect them - the tape keeps collecting dirt)

It should be a sizzler of a weekend - tons of great drivers turning up but very light in ITR. I might need to go out and test up there a little...
 
i have not driving the ITA car in a long time. i have new tires from the hankook contigencey that will go to waste if i dont use them. the car is running so it looks like the teg will be there. the civic will not make the trip
 
No smack talk from me until I know the motor will be done. Would love a nice long DRY race. That way Shane and I don't lap the whole field again. :happy204:

Does anyone have the registrar email address? I found how to withdraw but there isn't a link to send a withdrawl email like the user guide shows there should be. I know this is a big event and I don't want my inability to withdraw force someone else out of the race.

Not at a computer... Is it not on the sups? Try looking in the directory on NESCCA or at SCCA.com under the club racing tab where it shows divisions and regions

Now that's the sad fact - Driscoll has put the beat down on everybody this year - trying to get Autotecnic to run into each other - it happened once before around five years ago.

Rob/Jeff - that was LRP?

C'mon Jeff - take Rob under braking in T1 lap 1...
 
Found out over the weekend that my teammate is going to be leaving me high and dry cuz he'll be in Bermuda that weekend... Guess he'll be missing our SCCA debut! ha, and I even reminded him what happened last time he abandoned me!

oh well, more driving for me :D:eclipsee_steering:

Any points battles coming down to this race?! where is the smack talk and banter?! You all working at work for once? :p


I'll be bringing up the rear in ITA, but it will be soooooo great to be back on track AND racing!
