NHMS Opening Day NARRC / NERRC

'Zook update: car got loaded into the trailer yesterday, and is on its way to the Northeast. Contrary to my initial conversation with the driver (he told me he was spending Easter Sunday with his family in FL), the seller tells me that the driver told him it could be here as soon as Monday (after a stop in NJ to drop off a Camaro).

This may actually happen...

Well?? We're all waiting with bated breath (or breath that smells like bait!)

I see in STU there is a Mazdaspeed Protege running... Since I drive one this has my interest peaked. I am curious how this turbo car would do...

Hopefully they will combine G2 (SRF, SPU and Legends - 12 cars total) with G4 (FV, F500, FST) for a total of 16 cars and get us some nice track time.

I know it's not what they want but jeezus. G6 (wings and things) has 8. 15 car groups should be the minimum!

Fingers crossed. Make the event a huge success for those who DO show up and more people will come in the future. Only SM and SSM seem to be holding car counts.

I agree Andy, they should combine G6 with ITA/IT7 so you would have 25 on track. :happy204: Now that would be entertainment.

Seriously Chris - 4 cars in a group? That is sad. Combine them with a group that makes sense. Maybe no combination of those groups makes sense but it's such a waste of time for a group to have those kinds of car counts IMHO.

Greg, you've really scared all of the ITB drivers away, huh?

I really hope the ITB group isn't falling apart or disapearing on us! I am running 100% of the PRO-IT races this year which is 120% of what I can afford, so with that being said the wife has said NO "extra" regionals are in the cards for me... eventhough I only live 20min away from NHMS and almost all the PRO-IT races are 7+ Hrs away

Either way I will be at the event helping out a friend!

Stephen

PS: The "green Rocket" (that's what I called it when I was younger) was one of my favorite ITB cars. Not really sure why but it is one of the cars I remember most from the 90's. I thought it was cool to see it battling with the Volvo's and my all time favorite ITB car the Opel that Jim drives from time to time! Well maybe the Alfa that Rick drove was actually my favorite. My, my, how times have changed!

I was wondering if that was the nuclear booger for sale, now I know. ITB should be fun to watch with the Canadians and tga racin the swedes. BTY is Jims back healing ok and is he able to race again this year. Heard a 1000# bail of hay landed on him and his not so smaal son lifted/pushed it off. Happened before ski season so its old news but still relavant.
Dan 70 IT7 (some miata guy took my #):D
