OVR Autumn Classic

Lets get those entries in people!!!!!!! It is looking like it is going to be a GREAT weekend of racing! The social part should be just as much fun! :birra: The campfire will be there on Friday and Saturday night. Looking forward to spending another fun weekend of racing at the track! I'll be by myself, so you guys will need to keep me in check :cavallo:

Sounds like it will bee a great event, as it always is w/ Matt & Phil as race chairs. Unfortunately, I can't make this one, as our second child is due late August, and the wife said no F'n way!! :018: [/b]

What does that have to do with the race??? The damn race isn't until Sept. 9th!!!!! The way I see it, as long as the baby is born before MO you should be good to go. LOL I get a kick out of these whipped guys. ;)

<--- single, kid free, and racing the next four weekends. :happy204:

My Dad and I are already in. I believe Brian still has to sign up for ITS and it looks like Ian might be driving our ITC CX.

Shawn is a 'maybe' at this point... He is working on making it happen. The car is 'ready' and waiting! And It isn't a case of 'whipped', its more like negotiation. Those of us who aren't single and kid free (Kevin!), there is a fine balance between spending tons of $$ racing and a happy home. It only gets harder the older the kids get. I thought they were expensive when they were little - WOW was I wrong!

And on a side note - They had the Baby (Boy) on Wed.. Hoping to be home by the weekend.

And Kevin, Congrats on getting the GLDiv points lead back. It was nice to have for a short time - you should miss more races! :cavallo:

Matt: How do the entries look? I sent mine in on the 12th in order to get into the drawing for one of the garages.

Ohh, did I get that back again? I hadn't noticed. B) I won't be at the Nelson Ledges event in September, so you can do that one.

I'll be at Nelson. If no one else shows up I'll be lookin pretty good in the points. :P

Matt I sent my entry in the other day, so I'm good to go.

Kevin, I'm already planning to do the Nelson event (sonce you wouldn't be there)! I was kicking around the idea of doing the IRP (or ORP or whatever it is now), but then I saw who was going... I'll sit that one out. :P

Scott, I think you've got me covered at Nelson.. Should be FUN! I haven't been there since drivers school in 99!

Bill, Entries look good! (not as good as last year, but we expected that!).

Looking forward to seeing everyone there! Now if i can just find time to get the car ready. (read: get the junk off it and wash the windshield!)

I just got a deal on an SM rental. Any idea how many Spec Miata's will be there? I will be a mid-packer and I hope to stay out trouble. Really looking forward to the new pavement & pro course. :eclipsee_steering:

Matt: Another question - is Timing & Scoring going to have iCard up and running? If yes, I am considering purchasing the receiver.

Thanks.

Nice vote of confidence. You can always count on Linn for the low blow.

heeheeheeheehee....

Sorry, I just had to. Any luck on finding a shell yet? A long winter build ahead?
But then again I don't think Ruck does anything slow (eat, drink beer, drive cars...)

Steve,

You sure I can't talk you into ONE MORe at MidOhio this season? You know you want another shot at me - :018:

Come on - you know you want to... i've got cold beer! :birra:

I'm actually a very slow eater. :P

Ian brought home his new shell from Chicago on Monday. I've already told him that we could get the car on track by the WOR Games, easily. He wants to do a slower, more complete build over the winter instead though.

Hopefully I'll see you guys this weekend, but I may have to be out running around picking up parts for my car.

You can add 2 more entries to ITA (Though we haven't registered yet!)...

My dad and I will be there this weekend. Sure is nice living back in Michigan and being able to get to these races! Grattan was a blast (other than the Lap 1, Turn 5 incident). BTW, what configurations are we running each day (I know we are going to run 1 day with Club Course, and 1 day with Pro Course, just want to know which day is which)?

Kevin, we'll miss you at Mid-Ohio... definitely more of an Integra track than Grattan :)

Anything is more of an Integra track than Grattan! But, even Mid Ohio has been not very friendly to my car this year with the new pavement. Well, I suppose I should say it's just not been as friendly to the Integra as it appears to have been to the CRX's. But my car just absolutely loves tracks like Road America (coughroadatlantacough), and that will make me extra happy in about two months. :D
