But the good news is that you certainly aren't getting hosed on the straights!
 
Congratulations to our good friends Andy Bettencourt and Forrest Stevens on your great performances at Pocono! Heads Up Motorsports is proud to have supplied engines, engine peripherals and chassis development services to these deserving guys. Forrest, running a Heads Up engine, broke the track record set last year by Andy Boxer also in a Heads Up car.
 
Admittedly I am a slow learner at the track. I want to take this moment to thank fellow ITA racer Tom Blaney, SBMS Racing Inc., for his "line coaching" and giving me the insights to put me in the catbirds seat for the Saturday race at Pocono. Tom - YOU'RE THE BEST!!!! :happy204:

Joe - good thing the black BMW didn't drill you when you pulled back in line - dodged two bullets!

Looked at my in-car where the GT1 Corvette gets off track in the big bore race - he just hauls the car back on track right in front of me - same sound as Jeff's in-car - the sound of money evaporating. I gotta get a video digitizer gizmo - what do you guys use?

Jeff - whoever has the bigger repair bill does a shot of Quervo! :blink: My car will go to the shop this weekend - at least I will feel better when she's ready to race again.

I don't see much posted for LRP this weekend - is this event being attended or are folks protesting the fees and the NARRC rules? (OK - should be another thread)

PS - big props to Forrest on the SM record - I remember him puking out the window after his first race! That man has made strides!
