Pro-IT at NJMP with Grand-Am

Ben

Another question - do we need to reserve an RV spot in advance?

We will have assigned territory in the paddock; the paddock map may be changing so we will distribute an up-to-date copy in the week before the race. We will have our SCCA staff helping locate spaces. I would ask everyone to be mindful of our large entry and defined space when parking - be considerate. No reservations necessary.

See ya at the races

Looking for a place to leave my Truck and Trailer near NJMP, Monday before the event.
I'm traveling back from Summit and would rather leave truck on the way to Boston.
Anyone have any suggestions?WHo? or Where?

I've got a local guy with a lot. let me know if you need it. Also, the track is pretty good at being accommodating in such situations... It would be worth calling them.

I gave the track a call, spoke to Bob in the registration office. Turns out the track charges $150 to leave a trailer for a week....$250 for a month.

yea... they adjusted some fees this year... apparently those were included :/

and Bob ain't one to do anyone any favors

Yeah....last year the "fee" for that was "if y'all want to park it on the dirt for a week, that's fine."

Business is business....the fuel two ways from NJMP up to the North East is expensive when towing an enclosed trailer vs not towing anything....

Howdy, random tangent: where do we post NJMP-T w/ chicane track records? I can't find anything on NeDiv site. Best, Mickey

My shop's lot has plenty of space. 40 mins from NJMP, close to the highways. Send me an email to set something up if you still need to leave your rig.

There are no course records for NJMP Thunderbolt w/chicane. This race will be the first SCCA race to this configuration ... so we will have five new course records.

I sent out the TreadZone windshield banner and 3 series decals to everyone that didn't pick them up at NJMP or Once-A-Year tech. Expect them in the mail later this week.

Put the series stickers by the SCCA Club racing stickers on the nose and sides. The windshield banner should be at the top of the windshield, if not then talk to Terry.

We are going for a unified look, we will be in front of a lot of people at NJMP the Saturday and Sunday so look good, you never know.

No prize fund for rounds 1 & 2 as per the Supps.

Go to the TreadZone website and see the rules for the 2012 TreadZone contingency program.
