Go, Jeffy!!!! They'll certainly break the 2-yr-old record tomorrow morning.

Andy's doing pretty "OK" for a car with a stock longblock... :D

<sigh>

I got punted (unintentionally) on the first lap, knocking somthing out of alighn and almost bit the big one on lap two and decided to park it...........

Throwing away any chance of winning the championship (congrates to Joe!!), throwing away the chance to break the track record and throwing away $400 in tire money........ What a shitty day.......

Andy never got challenged and I think ran a 1:16.3
Geoff
Anthony Ruddy (nice job!!!!)

Apologies to Rob Bro for screwing up his race with my dramatics. Thanks everyone for not hitting me.......er, I mean after I was hit the first time.........

It's ok Jeff. You didn't mean to take away my podium.:(.....It is however the first time I've ever been hit in the RR by someone's LR. Glad you didn't hurt yourself, it could have been ugly. Congrats to both you and Andy for qualifying handsomely under track record.

Fell back to 7th finshed 4th. Personal best of 17.3. Drove the enduro to p2 in class with my teammate only to have him docked 3 spots for a [very] questionable passs under yellow.

First time in a Miata, and I thoroughly enjoyed it....very forgiving. Might make a good car in ITA......:023: The SM/SSM crowd was VERY fun to race with. Thanks to all for a clean, fun enduro.

ITA Update:

Lawton ripped of what I believe to be the fastest official time at NHIS ever for an ITA car...1:15.0xx for his P1 start. Awesome really. My car was quite ill-handling (video upload soon) this weekend in a very loose way but still quick in spots. Jeff vid should show how much work it was.

I led into T3 on Sat and Jeff and I got away from the pack. I had to be VERY wide into T6 to keep him behind me but couldn't hold him off about 3/4 through the race. We were racing really clean but slow as we both went away...Branscombe was coming...

Last lap Jeff goes wide in T10 and allowed me to get a run at him. Side by side into 11 we went, me on the inside. I got through first, had to go to 2nd gear to keep any speed and it was a race to the line. Another 100feet and he would have won.

Sunday was fortunate for me. I led into T3 again and all hell broke loose behind me. As I came onto the straight, Geoff B. and I had a gap which really never changed, both of us running low to mid 1:16's into the low 1:17's.

Jeff would have won have been the favorite if he had been in it.

Yeah, I'm not sure how I managed to rip off those laps. I think I had two, maybe three laps that were all under the record in qualifying. A little bit of Kessler power, sticker tires, cool temps all had somthing to do with it I'm sure....

The race was a blast. Andy made a nice move in lapped traffic on the last lap, no doubt about it. Here's the link:

Here's the two laps I DID manage to get in during Sunday's race.

Anybody have any video from behind? I'm sure it was exciting...... Unfortunately....
