Obviously I was kidding, very eventful, and yes I would not be surprised if the rear alignment is a little off. In the Saturday race you really caught my attention with the wiggle in the oval at 17:17
I was able to equal my best time during the Sat morning qualifying. It was made possible by new tires, a light fuel load, and a large coffee.
The Sat qualifying race was a bit boring with the leaders pulling away and Doc Bro too far ahead to catch.
Sunday Race - I was finally in the right place at the right time and drove around the Turn 3 incident, rather than partake in it. Thanks to Jeff for staying on the brakes and coming to a full stop. Rob got spun out in the turn and that gave me the chance to build up a lead while he got pointed in the right direction and made it through traffic. I had thought Rob was not around so I eased up towards the end of the race only to see him driving like a madman trying to catch me. I got back on the wheel and was able to keep Rob from getting me. Showing great sportsmanship, he and his family both congratulated me at impound. I am sure Rob is still wishing for two more laps!
Needless to say, my sponsor is very happy to see a podium finish. Now it looks like I will have the funding to finish out the season.
Thanks Lisa for letting Anthony come out and play.
Anthony it's always fun....thanks for bringing my best out. I ran my fastest NHIS lap trying to get to you. If I have to give up a trophy you're the guy who deserves it. I hope our son stays put so we can go to the next one....we'll see.
