Who Will Be There?

I'll be there running the Enduro, but unless a bag of money falls out of the sky I will not be running the sprint this year. Probably wouldn't even be doing the enduro if I didn't want to follow through with a promise made earlier in the year...

You guys have fun, I will be drinking beer and cheering!

Bowie
ITA Miata

And IF a big bag of money falls out of the sky, no way Bowie is getting to it faster than me LOL - I'm pretty scrappy for old and bald and out of shape :)

Bah, mark me down for the cheering section too. 2006 will hopefully be the year to run the green machine.

Gregg, save a spot for a second grill, I'll bring my tools.

We'll be running the Miata in the enduro, so hopefully some of that speed will show up....

Running that little miata in the Enduro eh? It's on now. ;) Hopefully we'll have a good field.

You think you can keep that beast going fast for 3 hours? I know my car loves it...fastest lap last year was # 61!

Where's all the NEDiv guys at?  I'd like to get an update on who's coming from up there.  Ray Lee, you out there?

A little too soon to tell but I will more than likely be there. :023:
Can't let you have all the fun. Haven't heard anything from the rest of the NER crowd but I'm sure they will chime in and keep everyone up to date.

Dave-

hummm... I don't see why not, if knowone in the family is racing it someone has to... right??? That and I will do just about anything to save on the fuel costs for me to get down thier!!!

Raymond

PS: No joking aside, if the car is all together and reliable after the "end of season racing" ask me again!!!

Any idea when the detailed schedule will be posted? We're talking about coming down, but most of us will fly in, and we need to know when to plan our flights.

Soon, have a couple details to work out. :bash_1_: See ya'll there, Fletcher

You can add Colin Botha from the CenDiv to the ITA entry list in his CRX. He told me today that he's going down again. His new CRX has just been on freaking rails this year but he's been down on power a little - and still running 1:44.00's at Mid Ohio while regularly kicking my butt. He won't be down on power by the time he shows up in November though. :023:

This is going to be insane.

Awesome. I ran with him in '02 and if you say he has a newer and faster car, then he's going to be flying.

Yea, he had his old car down there in '02. His new one has already done a 1:44.00 around Mid Ohio (.6 faster than his old car ever did) and set two other track records up here this year. This was with an engine my Integra could pull 3-4 car lengths down most straights. Like I said, it drives like it's on rails and will have more power by November.

It's kind of discouraging for me to come down if both Colin AND Joe show up in their CRX's. Hell, I can get me ass kicked by those guys up here without the 11 hour tow.

Unlike what I hear about Mid Ohio where it's pretty much all about how well you get through the corners, Road Atlanta favors both handling and power. You'll be fine. Just make sure you come down! Looking forward to seeing you and everyone again. I talked to A. Serra as well, and it sounds like it's going to be a great race this year with everybody. I'm looking forward to watching the other races as well.

I'm about 95% sure that I'll be there. Last years ARRC was probably the most fun I've ever had at a race track - on and off of it. I can't wait to see a lot of you again and no matter where I end up running on the track, I'm sure I'll find a good race.

Hopefully I can squeeze in another race with MWHC before then to try out some things. Stupid CenDiv and the season being over already......even though it's been over 90 the last two days.

I'm planning to be there this year in ITS after a long absence.
Seemed that every year that I went the track changed and I had the wrong gear (RX-7). Since the track has not changed since my last time, I think that the 4.88 is the right one now. Any 2nd gen RX-7 guys willing to tell the truth? :119:
