Who Will Win? Forget about Road America this is the NARRC RUNOFFS!

Rob bummer on the punt but nice work getting third. Where was mr Nimkoff? Got a new job so I will be back on track!!!

Stephen - glad to see that you had a really good run at Lime Rock. :happy204:

Ben - glad to see that you are getting back to the track :023:

I'd love to see both of you in the TreadZone Pro IT next year to keep the Rob and Rob Show on its toes.

to add to Group 8 and Kyle's report (thanks!): finished my pass for the lead in big bend and got punted in the lefthander - square hit on the left rear wheel. I spun off into the grass and was lucky enough to avoid the car wash. Wheel was bent, but tire still ok. I fell back to 8th or so, ended up third.
On a personal note: I miss my usual clean Pro IT fellows where this would either not happen or would be an apology. Not cool. But hey, others saw much worse damage this weekend compared to a lost win and wheel, so no need to complain too much.

I saw that move from the Tower - thought Maynard was an experienced racer - totally a "rookie" move. I would expect more from him. That could have been the best race of the day without that move - he clearly needs a refresher on "safe passing." Without even a "sorry about that" I suspect we will see more carnage from him in the future. Too bad.

Here is my video from the group 4 SM2/ITA race. I botched the start, then the downhill because I had to lift (didn't time my run right with Tim K), and spent a few laps figuring out how to pass Chris R in his CRX.

Racing with the ITA guys really makes things a bit different than racing other SM's. Chris kept things very clean with me, as did Mickey later in the race when he passed me. I do have to admit I rubbed Chris's bumper once through big bend, but that wasn't intentional.

Here are some snapshots of the ITR incident.

Awesome video Victor! Thank you for posting that! You gave me quite a work out. I new at some point that I would not be able to hold you anymore. I was using you to keep Mickey in check. I didn’t mind the bumps, it made me work harder. It was great racing with you. After watching it I see that I sent a lot of time in my mirror. Unfortunately, my race ended a couple seconds after.

Not a problem Chris, glad to share with you. I learned a lot about working mixed traffic trying to pass you....will come in handy in enduros and while racing with NASA.

Once I figured out I could see myself in the back of your car, it was easier to stay just off your bumper. Like I said, that one tap wasn't intentional....it's not my style (unless I'm pushing a car at the start).

just found the video of the porsche running over the SRF.

Can't tell which run group this was in, but Yusuf got these 2 pics of a Miata almost running over what looks a Spec Racer.

The Miata's front wheels are in the air and you can see the nose of the SRF.

SRF probably should not run with sedans.

Due to consolidation of cars at the NARRC caused by low # of entries, it was a problem.2 SRF's spun between turns 2 and 3, causing a 944 to do so as well. The 944 went over the top of one SRF,leaving tire marks on the top of the drivers helmet!! The driver was ok. When we got to the 944 with the flatbed, the driver was upside down in the "Lake", drivers right between 2 and 3.Amazingly, no one was injured!
