ARRC Travel, Parking

Charlie Gerundo

most likley not going, but you never know :(
ITB

18' open trailer, would like to park on the grass like last year, all my stuff is in bins on the trailer

F250 tow

thanks for your help with parking Greg

Not going... car is off the pace, and not enough time to invest into it :( Would love to go just for fun and run mid pack, but I can't see making the investment in the towing expence, with the risk of loosing the motor all together. Put in a tow fund to make it a lot cheeper and we are in ;)

Anyone have suggestions for a final drive for an ITB VW Golf 2.0 - (not much umph after 5,800 RPM) at Road Atlanta
Thanks
Beran

Update 30 in ITA and Andy's stayin home. Sucka :D

Joe - Where is the link for registered cars? We are still only a "maybe", but I am working hard to make it happen.

Are there any big rigs offering a hauler to bring cars down for a cost?

Do ya NEED me to beat you at EVERY track we race on? Keep somthing for yourself... :P
[/b]
Andy - Not sure if I am reading the NARRC points summary correctly but it appears there were "bumps in the road (track)" at Pocono, NHIS, and LRP . Maybe that was planned as to not attract too much attention????? ;)

RA is fun, fast and technical. I am sure ALL your Northeast brothers and sisters just want to see how you do against the "best of the best". Come and play.

Nope...I swing for the fence everytime out there! Take a closer look at Pocono...

Bottom line? It was a great year, rain and all... Without that rain - look out!!! But you take it how it comes - strengths and weeknesses both. It's racin'!

In good time...

Sad update....

My parents house, on the market since June, has sold, and the closing is just after the ARRCs...and it's been occupied by them essentially for 50 yrs.So I have my hands full...a lot of work for one person. Since the ARRCs are such a time consuming event, (5days, essentially) and work is piling up as well, I'm going to...sob, have to pass.

I will, I think, fly down to watch.

In some ways, thats better, as I can WATCH the ITA race, as opposed to being in it, in the IT7 class.

Anyone want to toss me on their crew list?

Beran,
We are using a 4.24 diff in our A-3,First time out will be at VIR next weeek end, will know beter then if it will work at RA.

exciting news!!! Watxh out as I have a new favorite!!! Go Derek!!!

Raymond

PS: we had a spy visit your track last weekend up in Canada... We can see why you like the VW's ;) Good car choice for the tight twisty back sections!!! I also heard that it was 2 cars wide in most areas... certainly adds to the challenges!!! See you soon and good luck at the ARRC :eclipsee_steering: :smilie_pokal: :035: :OLA: :023:

Derek -
Thanks for the info on the drive.
Great news about the A3! I am sure it will run well with your prep!
It will be good to catch up at RA. It will be a blast to compete together. It looks like there should be a great turn out for ITB.
See you there,
Beran

See you all in 08, and represent the top for all of us whom will be watching updates from the cold northeast (even though it was over 80 yesturday in NH)!!!
