I.T. Festival approved by Cincinnati BoD

I mounted ballast on the floor in addition to the seat, spare tire, and other stuff. :( Then again, I'd much prefer to have that problem then struggling to get to the min. weight.

I don't know Dave, I personally think it's much more fun trying to figure out exactly how many ounces of gasoline you need to get through the next session :D

I have a spare and 50# on the floor and I still have to figure out how much fuel to run based on each track so I can come off above min weight.

You have a point James - I have no clue what it's like having to worry about being under weight :P

Anyway, back on topic...I may have missed it, but they aren't going to require passenger seats for the test session unless you want to have an instructor/passenger, right?

Dave, just get fatter. Even in my porker Integra, I only have to add about 40lbs of lead onto the passenger side floor. Little guys like Muresan and Edo have to add a Geo Metro. :birra:

Ok, fine. So who other than Andy, Jake, and Dave have passenger seats in their car?

Me.
I put my groceries on it.
But not on race weekends.

Steve, of everyone I race against, I like lapping you most of all. :P

I was running a spare and 100#, and watching fuel to make weight. So I went ahead and reinstalled the sound deadening layer and carpeting. Makes for a much more comfortable and less hot ride. I was thinking about putting a stereo in for cool down laps :D

OK Homer, that's it, I'm puttin a donut on your dashboard in grid to distract you during the race.
And then I may put another on your door during the race.....

O.K. The ITE class definition for the Great Lakes Division 2007 has been approved. It is as follows.

A. Cars prepared for any past or current recognized showroom stock based amateur or professional racing series, not eligible for any current SCCA regional class.

B. Drivers must have the rule book and be able to prove compliance to the series rules the car is prepared to.

C. All cars must run DOT approved tires.

D. Cars must meet minimum safety requirements defined in the GCR and ITCS for Improved Touring.

Also Just a reminder. If you are interested in Instructing at the PDX let me know.

Nobody has posted here in over a week! What, has everyone refrozen? OK, I'll add to the heat.

Kevin! I'm gunning for you this year. Just took delievery on a new set of front brakes that will allow me to go full bore into 7, way past the single cone!!!!!!! I may even have to put a wheelie bar on the front to keep the car from doing a front summersault!

Bill, sounds like you've got a good plan. When you get to China Beach, Kevin will probably already be there. I see that Kevin likes to land on the roof - what's your preference?

I don't know. I was thinking on a new height record clearing the tire wall before the forest!

Come on, Kevin. Where's the smack??????? (LOL) :P :D :026:

WTF?! I'm getting crap from guys in my own region now! (Well, except for Linn. He's been doing it for years, but he has severe emotional issues with being lapped that he needs to address.)

I tell ya I get no respect! No respect at all!

Sure, but he's an ITA car. Think how deranged I must get when I get lapped by that little orange beast or those darn CRX's.

I like beer.
:birra:

Me too! :OLA:

Glad to see the smack talk is picking up! I'd like to, but I'll just be happy to finish the race. At least we aren't running with SM, so I should have a good chance to finish! :cavallo: Probably towards the back of the pack, but as long as the beer is cold - whatever! :cavallo:
