Time to update the entry list.

I don't know when was the last time Mid Ohio saw 8+ ITC cars. That's cool.

I see Tom Fowler is signed up in SM. It's now officially ARRC-like!

We're still +1 on the ITS car. Brian's slacking on getting signed up in it.

I copied this of the SM website. They are getting fired up too.

To all,

Online registration is available at http://www.dlbracing.com

Hey 21 SMs in their own run group so far!

And 43 ITA/B/C!!!

Great job guys ... you are well on your way to establishing a premier "Regional Runoffs" at Mid Ohio!

Cincy Region has always treated drivers with a mutual respect & appreciation (uhh, we do things differently in the North? [Wink] ) ... having an SM-only run group at Mid Ohio is not an opportunity to be missed!

Drago, bring the Funny Car, I owe you a Runoffs-style punt in T9

Signed,

The ONE Regional, National, International, Amateur, Professional and Endurance MX-5 Champion (from Lagrange Ohio)

Slacking is over now....+1 on the ITS list. Looking forward to it....

Maybe ITS won't be a RX-7/Z-car party afterall. ;)

This keeps getting more and more exciting. My "ooohhhh's and aaahhhh's" are getting bigger with every newly updated entry list. Joey - I know you're reading this; get those entry's in! :smilie_pokal:

We are hoping to have my dads 944S done for this event... The sponser has insisted that the car goes ;)

Raymond "Not sure why he hasn't registered yet" Blethen

Heck yeah!

Ray, tell your dad we'll be very disappointed in him if he doesn't get 'er done!

...boy, sure wish I could convince another 5 or so ITB cars to join the party... 11 isn't bad, but we usually see 8-10 every Waterford weekend, so it won't be that special... ;)

I tried to convince some of the other ITB drivers to sign up. We'll have to do some arm twist'n this weekend.

Chris "The Arm Twister" Childs :D

Dave,

Waterford Hills is in Michigan. LOL . But don't worry the Ohio contingent will be there too.

BTW, make that 105 entries.

Well, ummm, but I knew the people they were talking about actually live in OH? Or something like that.

Todd, what is the typical number of entries for Mid Ohio SCCA regional events? Any idea what the total typical car counts are for the classes that will be here?

Dave,

Not to worry, you may give the Waterford Hills guys on the fence more incentive to come now. LOL

This is the average over the last 6 years we have hosted a standard Double Regional 90 minutes of track time per race group (with all other classes included.)

IT7 (not run as separate class)
ITA 22
ITB 21
ITC 7
ITE 16 (Includes TCC)
ITS 23
SM 19
SRF 20

Restricted dbl. regional with 2.5 hours of seat time.
2007

ITA 21
IT7 5
ITB 12
ITC 8
ITE 3
TCC 8
ITS 14
ITR 1
SM 23
SRF 10

Now I know that there are around 50 drivers competing in the Regional Champ Series that haven't signed on yet (they race at Gingerman) this weekend. Plus additional National drivers (they race at Nelson's Ledges this weekend.) Each race group has a 60 car cap. So we can handle 300 cars.

Heh heh... when it comes to local division races, we at Waterford have a little tradition... it's called "Drink their beer, steal their trophies!" LOL

Yeah... the on-track action may still be up in the air - least till the clouds open up and Mud-Ohio lives up to its name - but I think pretty much every other Division is horribly outclassed in the beer-drinking department, and it's all over but the gargling! ;)

I mean, these guys get excited about Shiner Bock!?! I had somma that last time I was in Fla... here in GLDiv, that's like a beer you get in case your wife shows up... :P

Detroit... Where the weak are killed and eaten!

Of course, there is something to be to be said for having the home track advantage..... By the way, no one can down a beer like Downing.
